Some while ago, I mention in the weblog that my HDD went down, so I was on and offline for a while…..
In the period, I miss a few important emails, including an offer of a CarpeDiem GSM Addon for Palm m-series at a very fair price…… I was a bit upset for a while about it… as this piece of hardware wasn’t easily seen on market…
Called friend G as he was lucky enough to get the offer, he told me his brother was enjoying it, so I told him if he would like to “unload” it someday, let me know, I am after it….
Lucky enough I was browsing around some auction site lastnight, saw someone was selling this Addon at the same price of the offer, of coz, I click “buy it now” this time!! hehe….

Changing default Favorites entries in Treo 650 Phone app.
On the Treo650 Phone App, there is a handy function call Favorites Buttons.
But by default, there are a few default entry locked.
Example Contacts, VoiceMail etc….
Think most Treo user would love to assign their own selected app to these buttons isn’t it?

Setting for Smartone In 3G WAP service on SGH-i530.
Found that the price of my current mobile plan is almost the same price to the 3G ones, I can get Live News from Smartone In by WAP and 10 free MMS each month with a cost of $HKD20, not that expensive, so I decided to “upgrade” to the 3G plan. (altho I am still on a 2G phone….)

Getting new PIM in OS5s to work with Fossil WristPDA

Getting software to run on the Samsung SGH-i530
As far as I know, this phone was never released to public other than staff of the 2004 Athens Olympics….
Thats why there was no software developed to work on this phone other than the build-in ones, it was one of my concern when I was planning to get this phone, anyway, the to be or not to be, be wons!
In the 3 days software installing and playing around, I found that actually the case isn’t that bad here, at least, basic software like CJKOS, PenPower, iSilo, TCPMP that I use most of the time works.
