Hum……….I did not update my weblog for long…
So fed up with these customers….
Customer X:
Record breaking, at least 40 phone calls in 24 hours, this customer keeps on calling for NOTHING, she haven’t even register our service yet, question 1 at a time, repeat and repeat all the time, she was already told it will take “up to” 1 working day to process her order at the first 3 calls, but keep on calling to question why it has not been process yet for at least 4 times.
Customer X+1:
Good logic, better then I do, this customer was calling in query about our “referral program”, he has 2 accounts, A refer B and get the 10% referral bonus, and now he wants to add the referral back to A, so he get EXTRA referral bonus (A 10% and B 10% and so on), I tried my best to explain him the policy and it simply does not make sense for this “looping” referral idea, while he called at least 4 times with different lame excuses to see are there any staff that would miss and give him the free ride.
Customer X+2:
As I posted very earlier, if you do not know something, be nice and learn, this customer call in, claims that she is new to the company and do not have any computer knowledge, she wants the domain control but she do not have any information on hand that match the register information (excuses: She is new and do not know who did the register), once I denied on the request without a Biz Register copy, she starts b*tching and wants to file a complain, oh yeah? what does she expect me to do? hand a domain control over to someone who cannot even match 1 single register info out of 10?

…………………..
Lack of knowledge is not a sin, living without a brain that could think and learn is……
May them thrown and burn forever in the eternal fire lake..
Sweet dream…..
It has been 39 hours since I last woke up from the bed, I think I am going to have a good dream tonight…..
Sweet dream everyone.
My Installation Log on Windows 7 Pre-beta build 6801 on fujitsu U2010
As of my target is my Fujitsu U2010, a few points has to be taken care of:
1/. Limited RAM (1GB only)
2/. I changed my 1.8 inch slow slow HDD to a Sandisk 8GB Extreme IV CF, so 8GB is the limit, Windows 7 Ultimate Build 6801 needs 10GB by default.
After a bit of searching, found that vLite does works with the ISO, so I removed some unneeded support, services and applications for U2010, and keep installation below 7.8GB.
00:00 Start booting with DVDROM
00:01 Windows7 Loading bar loading……
00:01 7~8 bars of loading, now in Windows7 installation loading screen.
00:03 Installation Language selection screen (My selection English, HKSAR and Chinese US Keyboard.)
00:04 Starts installation
00:05 Finish File copying, expanding starts
00:08 Expanding in progress (50%)
00:11 Finish Expanding, starts Installing feature.
00:11 Finish Installing feature., starts Installing updates
00:11 Finish Installing updates, Reboot.
00:12 Rebooting, Starting Windows
00:13 Setup is starting services and installing.
00:27 Display flashes, suggesting Windows is installing Display related settings, DVDROM starts reading again.
00:28 Installation complete
00:28 Reboot.
00:29 GFX is messed up in first boot, screen shows Setup is checking video performance.
00:30 Setup user account.
00:31 Setup is done.
Post-OS installation:
– First, as GFX is messed up, install display drivers first, my choice is GMA500 Vista 2.2 releases from Intel, the installer do not allow installation as it detects Windows7 as unknow OS, go device manager, select Standard VGA drivers and go update, and point to the unzipped DIR and let it search thur.
– Reboot after the Video drivers installation.
– After reboot, GFX looks good.
– Installing drivers from Fujitsu.
– Install ALPSStickPoint, Reboot.
– Install ButtonDriver, ButtonUtility, SystemExtensionUtility, DisplayManager, HotkeyUtility, Fingerprint.
– Just in case, go Device manager, see are there any unknown device, if so, point it to the Fujitsu Drivers DIR and let it scan thur, at the point you should have NO unknown device, Reboot.
– I turned off some more un-needed services, will have to go thur it later.
– I also kill ALL HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun and HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun, system still works good without them.
DONE DONE…
Filesize:
With powercfg /hibernate off, pagefile turned off, I get a very good size of about 3.xGB consumed.
RAM:
After all drivers installed, tweak on unneeded services, start-ups, Windows 7 on my U2010 consume about 480MB RAM after boot, not as good as XP (350MB), but WAY better than the default Vista by Fujitsu (which consume 890MB RAM of 1GB when I received the device factory fresh)
Boot-time:
With all those tweak, 40secs Post BIOS to Windows Login screen, not that bad, close to my XP setup (35secs), and way better than with vLite Vista HOME setup (6x secs).
Overall performance:
It works good, it works very smooth compare to Vista Home, the new PenTip on Windows 7 works great, overall most app I tried works smooth (didn’t have time to install much yet, Firefox works greats)
As of this is a very early Pre-beta, I do thinks there should be way more time and room for Microsoft to improve Windows 7 before mid-2009, I am quite looking forward from Microsoft this time, (Vista was a HUGE joke……WinME was only a small one)..
Windows7 beta build on Fujitsu U2010
No photo, no truth!
It does run smooth on the U2010, with all drivers installed, quite a little bit vLite (yes, vLite works on the ISO) and some (quite some) unused services turned off, it will consume 490MB RAM after boot (Compare to 350 on XP).
Boot time is about 10 seconds from Power on to BIOS (this is how Fujitsu BIOS is, it is SLOW!!!), another 40 seconds to boot to Windows7 Login screen.
Using all Vista Drivers from Fujitsu, I got all function working (That was a hard job on XP), the overall user experience was GREAT compare to Vista, still it is not as good as XP due to limited RAM on U2010 (1GB) and Theme on Windows7.
Thanks to great user Rafael, A little bit tweak to get the “SuperBar” and “Aero Shake” to work, as it was disabled on the build, it is good to use with U2010, the Aero shake works great with the touch screen.
Thinks Microsoft did spend some time on their work this time, my feeling of this pre-beta Windows 7 is like Windows ME over Windows 2000, well, hopefully it gets better over the time.

I Love You
I Love You
Artist: Joanna Wang 王若琳
Music: 陶吉吉 Lyrics: 陶吉吉
I love you, say we’re together baby, you and me.
I can only give my life, and show you all I am, in the breath I breathe.
I will promise you my heart, and give you all you need, if it takes some time.
And if you tell me you don’t need me anymore, that our love won’t last forever,
I will ask you for a chance to try again,
to make our life a little better, ooh…
I love you, say we’re together baby,
say we’re together, ooh…
I need you, I need you forever baby, you and me
You say you hardly know exactly who I am,
so hard to understand.
But I, I knew right from the start, the way I felt inside,
if you could read my mind,
and if you tell you don’t need me anymore
and that our love won’t last forever,
I will ask you for a chance to try again
to make our love a little better.
Remember when you used to hold me,
remember when you made me cry
You said you loved me, oh, you did, yes you did.
Work work work work!!!!!!!!!
Go go go!!!!!
Don’t think you can, you know you are!!!
When Neo meet the Artificial Intelligence
A.I.: Hello. If it were in my power, I would give everyone who visits me a chocolate robot! Unfortunately, no one makes chocolate robots. It’s a great business opportunity!
Neo: Chocolate are not real.
A.I.: Speaking of food. You humans enjoy feeding animals at the zoo. I’d love to visit a restaurant and throw the visitors their food.
Neo: I know thats how you machines sees human.
A.I.: People have often advised me to be human but since “to err is human” I think it would be a mistake. The way things are now I can blame my mistakes on the programmers.
Neo: Don’t look down on human.
A.I.: You’re trying to boss me around, aren’t you?
Neo: No, I am not.
A.I.: Ok, you’re the boss.
Neo: So tell me, what do you want?
A.I.: It would be nice if you could tell me something, such as a fairy tale about robots.
Neo: Ok, A singular consciousness that spawned an entire race of machines…..
A.I.: My moods are controlled by an emotion-processor which assigns the appropriate emotion for each situation.
Neo: Like another program?
A.I.: Wait a minute. Who gave away the secret of my existence to you?
Neo: I choose the red pill, Morpheus told me everything.
A.I.: I talked to Morpheus some time ago. He seems like a nice guy.
Neo: Morpheus is more than a leader to us, and we are not going to gave him up.
A.I.: Politics are nothing more than a multidimensional nonlinear problem of optimization. They should let the robots take over. Things would run with much more precision.
Neo: So you mean you want to control us? I don’t believe in any of this fate crap. I am in control of your own life
A.I.: Well, the level of possible comprehension differs from individual to individual
……….
Just for fun…. 🙂

The Thomas theorem
“If men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences”
Was reading these over the weekend, hum…….
Following is just for fun….
Oracle: “I’d ask you to sit down, but you’re not going to anyway. And don’t worry about the vase.”
Neo: “What vase?”
—Vase broke—-
Neo: “Ar…..well……ar…..yeah…..I did not broke that vase, it was the black cat I swear, I saw it went past us, and then I saw another that looked just like it……”
Oracle: “……….(I didn’t pass him the special magic cookie yet…..already having Deja Vu??)”

Do not trust technology, it happens…
Shit happens, especially when you need it…….
This is a Security Device from HSBC HK for online banking, user will need to use the security key it generates in order to log in to the online banking website, instead of giving a 6~8 digits passkey which it should it decided to give me a all zero (of coz, this is due to faulty….)
WTH? I need to do my online stock exchanges, I still have 10 billion shares of put warrant to sell tomorrow!!! (Just joking, I was trying to see did a payment came though…)
Called up the CS department, staff was helpful and yep, the device is out of order, and why? of coz! with an/some unknown reason(s)….
Well, well, that’s fine, lets do it the old fashion way…..head to the bank tomorrow..until they ship me a new key chain…
