When I first develope this weblog, I never sit down and think clearly how to use this weblog, reason has been posted on the first few post of the log….

Currently as you can see, I have introduced some ad from google adsense, trying to get just a little bit income for the hosting fee…

The main issue is not the Ad, but I realize that the way I develope the Weblog is so “un-search engine friendly”…..

escpecially Google….

So I am thinking, should I really change the backend of the log, so that it gets a little bit more search engine friendly?

I think it may take me a little time, like a few days, but can I spare the time now??

用左兩個鐘時間，終於可以 Post 中文喇。
原來之前出唔到中文係 XML::Simple Encoding 問題，XML::Simple 會將 Output 轉左 UTF8。。
加左一段 Code 去將Ｄ Output 轉番去 Big5，問題解決！

The bug in list.cgi are fix, problem occurs when there is only 1 item in the XML, as the way how I develope the code loop thur the content of the XML array.

When there is only 1 item, XML::Simple do not treat the content as an array, so $data->{thread}-><$h>->{tid} do not work.

It was fix by setting the bits in XMLin to
data = XMLin($where, ForceArray => 1);

Which no matter there is only 1 item in the XML, it was returned as an array.

I think I should re-visiting all code to see are there need of changes.. (as far as I remember, no…)

ok, listing code are re-done, to support listing categories by XML in /nav, next step is a quick addin of Profilio on the left side by XML too…

and seems after that is admin page, I think a better administrative tool set will be nice….

Did a little bit changing on the layout, and a few enhancement..

Adding sitemap.shtml (SSI to form XML) to the site for the Google Sitemap, hum……. really should do more version of this log (at least PDA version, Flash version).

as I am planning to make this log even more flexible for Minnaya Cafe, something like multi-user, different templetes, securities issue are needed… many ideas has to be introduced to the log instead of a weblog that was suppose to be a half-cooked bacon… hehe

I am sure friend F, T, M will like it when it is done! I just love your cafe, I really do.

I think a flash version on the same back-end is gonna be cool! wonder how cool will it looks like if timeframe is possible….

yep, an update, the log and theo are still alive….. just busy….

I should have done this for so long, since the very beginning of time.  I have been developing websites for firends, company, projects, assignments.

while, I never have spend enough time for a personal site, maybe this is the matter of personal belive, I belive I will have to use all my skills to make a site that I think it works and look good, so everytime, no matter I have done one, and I still feel that it can be done better, so the site was never released since I have done a little better one!

This site was done with mate D in the lab, haha, at first it was just trying to show D how to do cgi and perl, it ends up to be what you are looking at now, although I think way more can be done, but I will leave it for later on! when I have more time!  anyway, I think I will keep this one for a while.  at least the front end and the url.  lets see how long does this one last?
